- Assist with day-to-day activities related to the publication development process
- Support the team with database entry (e.g. PubsHub PMSolution, Datavision)
- Prepare project kick-off notifications, schedule status meetings, update status reports, and gather submission materials
- Research author information, journal submission guidelines, and congress deadlines
- Coordinate and prepare for publication submissions
- Traffic project tasks within the internal team and support staff (Creative/Graphics, Editorial/Copyedit, Finance)
- Develop electronic project file folders and file project-related materials and correspondence
- Prioritize, organize, and anticipate upcoming project work
- Coordinate shipping of deliverables and assist with travel arrangements
- Work closely with the team to ensure understanding of client needs and expectations
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
- High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with using FTP sites, DropBox, and WebEx (or similar systems) preferred
- Knowledge of publication tracking/management programs (e.g. Datavision, PubsHub, PMSolution) a plus
- Experience working within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Experience with client interface and overall client service
