Research Associate- Full Time, Regular Position

Location – San Antonio, TX.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

The Research Associate (RA) is integral in the execution of all aspects of the clinical trial. The Research Assistant will have direct patient contact and is responsible for ensuring that all the clinical trial activities are performed as outlined by the clinical trial protocol. The Research Assistant is responsible for performing tasks as per the clinical trial protocol, ICON Early Phase Services, SOPs, FDA, ICH GCP, and utilizing proper source documentation techniques. The Research Assistant will participate in clinical trial meetings and trainings as warranted by the study protocols.

Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required

High School Diploma with medical assistant training/certification or other allied health certification
Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Paramedic, EMT, LVN or RN preferably with 2 years’ experience
Maintains current job related competencies, certifications and/or licensure as applicable (CPR, IV, etc.)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research or related fields preferred. Will also consider individuals who are looking to enter the field of clinical research.
Knowledge of ICH GCP and FDA regulations
Flexible and available based on staffing requirements, weekends, holidays and on call
Strong communication skills and demonstrates a high level of professionalism
