Safety Systems Analyst - Flexible on location

As a Systems Analyst you will provide expertise in the areas of ICH E2B and submission and/or distribution of ICSRs to Regulatory Authorities, Partners, Ethic Committees & Investigators, adhering to all Regulations and timelines. 

You will be able to support the implementation of reporting rules, method of submission and timelines into the Argus Safety Database and the Pega PV System to ensure all Regulatory Reporting timelines are met.

Support end users of Argus & Pega and be the point of contact between the business and IT Systems.

The role

• Investigate, clarify and agree user requirements for new business intelligence requests.
• Negotiate and agree scope and timescales with users to achieve best possible match between operational needs and BI system suitability and capability.
• Develop, evaluate and recommend solutions to meet user needs in the form of logical data model and functional specifications
• Work in collaboration with the BI development team (in-house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specification
• Develop reports using the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) solution.
• Manage user acceptance testing, system testing, implementation and post-implementation support of new/changes to solutions.
• Training of super-users within the business areas on the use of the specific business intelligence solution delivered.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of global reporting regulations
• Experience in implementing reporting rules into a safety database for the automatic submission of ICSRs to trading partners
• Experience in maintaining cloud based applications including testing of any changes made to system architecture
• Experience in working with system end users to resolve issues and provide system training as required
• Overall understanding of systems architecture & technology development lifecycle
• Presentation & communications skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision combined with very good organizational skills
• Experience in the administration of Argus Safety Database and Pega PV system desirable
• Bachelors degree, or local equivalent, in business, technology, information technology or related discipline.
