Senior Clinical Project Manager - Early Phase Oncology (CRO Experienced)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager - Early Phase Oncology to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Clinical Project Manager - Early Phase Oncology at ICON, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing and executing project plans, focusing on achieving project goals and objectives.
- Leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify project requirements and define project scope.
- Builds and manages the study budget, implement actions to mitigate areas of risk, drive delivery across the full project, collaborate with internal stakeholders to track study progress and create study tools. Oversees study budgets development across program as required;
- Analyzes Study Protocol (or study assumptions and Sponsor’s needs in case Protocol is not available), in order to define scope of services for internal and external Providers project success and identify risks from the beginning of the project;
- Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Driving the development of project documentation and reports to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Performs Site Engagement visit to assigned country in line with CCOS strategy;
- Participates in sponsor audits and Regulatory Authority inspections;
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into project management strategies.
- Contributing to organizational growth through effective project leadership and strategic planning.
Your Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Project Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous recent experience working in project management within a Contract Research Organization
- Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Previous clinical trial management in early phase Oncology clinical trials required
- Progressive Clinical experience prior to PM (CTM, with previous CRA) background preferred;
- Global clinical study experience will be an asset
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective project strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in local office language and strong in English, both written and verbal;
- Available for travel up to 20% of the time.
