Senior Director Operational, Strategic Alliances

ICON is a respected global CRO providing drug development solutions to the Pharmaceutical; Biotechnology; and Medical Device industries.  Due in part to the continued growth of our strategic partnerships model, we are looking to recruit for a Senior Director Operational, Strategic Alliance.

The purpose of this position is to provide a environment of continued process alignment and process improvement, both within ICON and externally, considering the impact and effect of changes.

·         You will be responsible for coordinating all process, reporting and technology activity for our growing strategic partnership business.

·         You establish and build trusted relationship with internal and external stakeholders and will serve as the primary point of contact / point of escalation relating to process, reporting and technology activity.

·         You will align process improvement activity throughout ICON, engaging with colleagues across different departments.

·         You will provide effective leadership to a global team of Business Process & Reporting professionals, at Manager and Analyst level.

·         You will promote a culture of proactive, process improvement throughout your team.  You will ensuring consideration is given to the impact and effect of any changes made.

This is a high impact and highly visible role within ICON, which offers the potential for future growth and professional development.

To be considered for this opportunity you should have current Project Management experience gained within a global Clinical Research environment.  Preference will be given to individuals with experience working within a strategic partnership model.
