Senior Epidemiologist

Location: Stockholm ,Sweden and London, UK.

We are currently seeking a Sr Epidemiologist / Biostatistician with expertise in analysis of retrospective and prospective data sources to join our team within the Real World Evidence and Strategy Analytics (RWESA) team, based in Europe.

The RWESA team works on a range of disease areas and study designs. We undertake studies to characterize treatment patterns, disease natural history, burden of illness, patient preferences, real-world effectiveness and safety, benefit-risk, and data base mapping.  We use a variety of study designs to obtain these estimates, including prospective and retrospective data collection; analysis of clinical and administrative databases; and systematic literature review. 

The Sr. Epidemiologist / Biostatistician will provide statistical expertise relating to the design and conduct of studies, will perform the analyses, and will contribute to reporting and interpreting the findings.

Overview of the role

• Preparing statistical analysis plans;

• Designing the tabular and graphical summaries for reporting study results;

• Designing data collection forms and data structure for observational studies;

• Providing statistical support for other members of the team;

• Preparing statistical methods and results sections for reports;

• Conducting statistical analysis.

 Additional valuable skills would include:

• Project management and serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Proposal writing, Business development activities
• Contributing to systematic literature reviews
• Mentoring junior team members

Role requirements     

• MSc or PhD in biostatistics or statistics, or BSc, with significant relevant experience
• CRO or Pharma experience will be preferred
• Excellent organizational skills including written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Proficient in the use of SAS and/or R
• Strong oral and written English communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong project management experience
•  Experience of Real world data analysis (registries, claims and/or observational studies)
