Due to a recent promotion and further anticipation of growth we now have a role for a Recruitment Consultant to join DOCS division of ICON in Sydney.

As a recruiter we want you to develop your knowledge of the clinical research and pharmaceutical industry and become an expert in this space. Primarily you will be responsible for recruitment delivery in Australia and New Zealand.

This will suit someone who has a ‘quality first’ approach to recruitment. We have an 80%+ interview to hire ratio. This sometimes means saying no, taking a step back and also being considered in what is the best approach and taking more time to find the right person.

In terms of support, you will be working closely with our Recruitment Manager in Sydney who has been with DOCS for 7 years and has built a great network in the Clinical Research Industry. They will be passing all on to you and this will hopefully set you up to emulate this success.

We have clearly defined metrics around delivery and you are rewarded financially and through other reward programs for meeting and exceeding these. They won’t be on a par with what you’ll get in an agency but you’ll have an opportunity to work on 40 – 50 roles every year across a range of different job titles.

Internal recruitment can be tough as we have to deliver a solution on every role we recruit for but this allows you to build up experience of utilising innovative ways of sourcing and we feel will ultimately lead to you becoming a better recruiter.

So what are we looking for?
Ideally you will have 1-2 years recruitment experience, the industry is not so important but if you have clinical research recruitment experience this will be a bonus.

The role is based at the ICON offices in North Ryde and we have flexible working hours, onsite parking, holidays rising up to 25 days with service, opportunity to work from home and plenty more.
