Senior Software Engineer - ODI/AWS

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with project lead and business users to gather requirements, conduct analysis and prioritize requests
• Design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the DW/BI environment
• Design and implement multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Dimensions and Facts (with hierarchies, attributes, and measures)
• Translate project requirements into functional and technical specifications for BI reports and applications

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Strong team player with proactive approach, willing to take ownership
• Good communication skills

AWS Recourse:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS
• Working experience in Java
• Experience in working/creating AWS Lambda Functions using Java or Python
• Experience in working/creating APIs using AWS API gateways (Proxy/nonProxy integration ) with AWS Lambda has backend
• Experience in storing / retrieving data to/from DynamoDB/Aurora RDS using AWS Lambda functions

ODI Recourse:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in ODI or AWS
• Good hands on experience in the design, construction and management of Data Warehouse and data modeling
• Experience in the design and implementation of ETL processes using Oracle ODI
• Strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP principles.
• Strong Oracle SQL skills
