Senior Clinical Data Programmer
 
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
The Senior Clinical Data Programmer will be responsible for electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) related aspects of Database Administration.  Responsibilities extend to SAS programming of deliveries and edit checks. 
 
Overview of the Role
  • Prepare blinded read databases for review sessions
  • Export blinded read datasets
  • Database maintenance
  • Execute database change requests
  • Database integration (images, clinical histories, other business databases)
  • Randomization schedules
  • Prepare database queries
  • Prepare database reports
  • Creation of delivery programs
  • Creation of edit check programs
  • Act as a technical resource and mentor for the development of junior staff
  • Code review of colleagues work to ensure consistency and viability of logic
  • Provide technical assistance for documentation efforts
  • Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international
  • Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required 
  • Bachelors degree or local equivalent or equivalent work experience along with a minimum of  minimum 4 years SQL programming experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of SAS experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Trained in Good Clinical Practices
  • Trained in computerized systems in Clinical Trials
  • Proficiency in Business computer skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Documentation skills
  • Communications skill
