Sr. Director, Adjudication and DMC Management role within ICON:

We work with top pharmaceutical organizations on emerging therapeutic areas which include but are not limited to Oncology, Vaccines, CNS, Cardiovascular and Pain. The Sr. Director, Adjudication and DMC Management will provide global leadership and departmental vision, strategy, management and oversight to the Adjudication and Data Monitoring Committee group:

Assess and strengthen leadership team and staff in the Adjudication / DMC group.
Ensure ICR compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and ICON or Sponsor SOPs governing Endpoint Adjudication, Clinical Endpoint Committee (CEC) management, and Data Monitoring Committee / Data Safety Monitoring Board management.
Responsible for assessing and implementing systems and work flow necessary to efficiently manage these areas of clinical research.
Ensure that all IT systems used to provide CEC / DMC services are in a validated state.
Develop relationships with external CECs and DMCs.
Take leadership role in sales efforts to grow the Adjudication / DMC group. Build awareness of this service offering both internally and externally.
Drive profitability. Responsible for departmental P&L management with emphasis on both top-line revenue and margins. Pursue financial efficiencies by improving processes and pushing work to lower cost countries.

To succeed you will need:

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor degree, preferably in a medically related field. A minimum of 15 years of clinical research experience and a minimum of 10 years of management experience.

To be successful you will be expected to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of management and staff including Executive Management, Divisional and Departmental management and staff, Sponsors, vendors and media. Astute business and financial acumen as it relates to the CRO industry. You must have excellent management, team leadership, presentation, verbal & written communication skills.
