We are currently seeking a Start Up Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Start Up Associate at ICON, you will be contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing

• Transversal collaboration with each of the teams’ members within the SSU, such as Feasibility Manager, Contract Specialist and Submission Specialist

• Support all relevant aspects of trial start Up activities.

• Deliver assigned activities in a proactive and independent way, and in accordance with the Sponsor Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs)

• Ensure and encourage the sharing of better practices and consistency, both within and across the Clinical Development Centers

• Contribute to trial start-up readiness tasks, which may include:

  Set up and support in maintaining updated the clinical IT systems (e.g. COSMOS, Vault RIM, CONNECT Portal), incl. Initial milestone entries, document upload.

  Set up of communication structures (e.g. shared mailboxes, Trial OneNote, Teams channels, newsletters, EDC mailbox, and other Trial Squad communication tools)

  Support Submission Specialist in the conduct of the daily tasks.

• Handle contracts and amendments in relevant systems.

• Updating relevant trackers and systems

• Supporting CS in activities “tracking related”

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree

• Independence, innovation and proactivity should always be demonstrated when prioritizing planning and performing tasks either assigned by trial team, management or initiated by oneself.

• Capable of identifying problems and relevant issues and assessing these using standard procedures. 

• Excellent communications skills

• Adaptability to change

• Agile work methodology

• Innovative and risk-based mindset

• Ability to work in a complex and busy environment
