Treasury Analyst

Location: Dublin

The Role

You will join a team of treasury specialists providing treasury service to the ICON plc group as part of dynamic treasury function. You will work cross functionally with other teams within our finance function and will be responsible for managing ICON’s company cash and delivering banking solutions for group companies. 

Role responsibilities include: 

·         Responsible for FX dealing and Cash Management for ICON affiliates

·         Manage monthly intercompany cash balances

·         Perform variance analysis group companies & follow up with involved parties

·         Assist with integration of acquired companies into the group’s cash management structure

·         Monthly reporting for the group cash & investment portfolio

·         Engage with TMS provider to bring about system improvements

·         Review monthly the risk reports

·         Bank relationship management and implement banking solutions for the group

·         Management of bank accounts and Managing banking documentation including opening/closing bank accounts, KYC and AML documentation

·         Prepare SOX file & assist with compliance and testing when necessary

·         Responsible for bank system management & bank system fraud training & best practise awareness education for the finance group

·         Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly treasury reporting packs for senior management

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

·         Degree in Finance or Business

·         Have a strong interest in financial markets and Corporate Treasury Management.

·         1-2 years previous experience in a treasury role in a multinational environment.

·         Experience of treasury systems, counterparty risk management, cash management, fx and interest rate risk would be a distinct advantage.

·         Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers

·         Strong analytical, organisation and interpersonal skills.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Willingness to complete the Professional Treasury exams.
