It’s now been one year since Abitha joined ICON and since completing her internship she has progressed into an Information Security Associate role. In this time, Abitha has gained so much respect for what she does and how she contributes to the success of the company. Working in our IT team is really sociable because our colleagues get to work on projects that involve most departments. This means that during her year at ICON, Abitha has worked with a number of colleagues and many of them have helped her make great progress in her career.

Abitha explains that during her time at ICON she’s always been encouraged to grow and this culture has allowed her to flourish as a professional in information security. Though learning and developing are important to all our colleagues, Abitha makes a great point that this must be balanced with a personal life. 95% of millennials agree that a work-life balance is important, and since this generation will soon comprise the majority of the modern workforce, more people like Abitha will see the benefit in working for a company that respects a work-life balance.
