In the course of duty the Senior Global Feasibility Manager will maintain communication and relationships between all relevant parties to ensure that all intelligence is utilised in order to make best feasibility decisions:
o Relevant parties include, but are not limited to: Proposal teams; Project Managers; Patient Recruitment & Retention Specialists; Site Identification Managers; Site Identification Leads; Scientific Council; Therapeutically Aligned clinical teams (as assigned); Internal/external experts; Business Development Associates; Sponsors, Quality Assurance Associates
* The Senior Global Feasibility Manager shall manage and support proposal and project teams as a technical Feasibility expert.
In performing the above two essential functions, the remit includes, but is not limited to:
* Preparation of feasibility data by:
o Collection of data from country associates, site level Investigators, KOL interviews
o Determination of site selection criteria
o Development of appropriate feasibility plans including management of the plan to delivery
o Provision of full documentation in the proposal that may include incidence, prevalence, treatment practices, reimbursement practices
o Referral to patient recruitment and retention specialists for appropriate intelligence and strategies for accepted recruitment practices and plans
o Referral to study start up experts and/or late phase experts and/or other internal expert groups as indicated for any assigned proposal opportunity
o Ensuring that feasibility data is fully evaluated to determine risks to project delivery and that any risks identified are appropriately escalated and solutions planned / discussed within the Feasibility strategy (example: alternative scenario)
o Transitioning all generated data (including strategy) to the project team (SiteID Manager/Lead) upon award
o Preparation of internal project information to support ad hoc requests for information (this may include delegation to alternative Feasibility associates, retaining supervision)
* Conduct evidence based feasibility by:
o Establishment of viability of proposed project through interrogation of internal and external performance metrics (previous feasibility data, Industry intelligence)
o Establishment of viability of proposed project through interrogation of internal and external resources to establish demographics and data on patient populations
o Establishment of quality: that all collected data is of high quality, accurate and fully documented in the ICON Feasibility business systems
o Performance of accurate and correct data analysis and interpretation to support feasibility
* Preparation for and attendance at Bid Defense Meetings (by Telephone Conference or by attendance in person)
