Global Account Director (Strategic Partnerships)
Summary:
ICON Clinical Research is expanding our Strategic Partnerships team. We are currently looking to recruit a Global Account Director to this team, with responsibility for driving strategic sales activity within assigned Big Pharma / Global Biotech accounts.
As a Global Account Director you will assume responsibility for a number of prospective or existing ICON customers, with a view to building trust and driving towards Strategic Partner / Alliance status.
You will work cross-functionally, building and leveraging relationships throughout all ICON functions (Project Management; Medical; Clinical Operations; etc) to construct and lead a strong, global matrix account team demonstrating depth of knowledge, capability and giving absolute confidence to the customer.
Working as part of the global Business Development team, you will collaborate on a global sales strategy, ensuring deep and trusted relationships at all levels within the customer environment.
This is a high impact and highly visible, leadership role within ICON which offers the potential for future growth and professional development.
To be successful in this role you should have a demonstrable strategic sales background in large accounts within a Clinical Research environment. Ideally you will have a global sales experience.
