Senior Learning & Development Coordinator

About the position:

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

Working as part of the global ICON University, the purpose of this role is, to provide support for the development and delivery of learning and development solutions to meet the identified needs of ICON's employees at all levels, enabling them to develop and grow as trusted partners to all our customers, external and internal. To support the ICON Learning management system by providing timely customer service via ICON's help desk application.

You will be involved in the following activities:

• Provides programme support as assigned
• Provide support for external and internal audits and/or client requests for training documentation on study staff including preparation of employee reports (training histories or learning plans when requested) and provision of scanned or actual paper files, when necessary.
• Maintain departmental files, as necessary
• Demonstrate leadership by working at a high level of quality with minimal supervision
• Mentor and coach other Learning and development coordinators as required
• Provide timely and professional customer service via ICON's help desk application
• Provide support for ICON systems that promote learning and development
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

To succeed, you will possess:

· Minimum Bachelor's degree

· At least 24 months of Learning and Development on system support or similar role experience within the industry

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· A great teammate
