The Senior Manager, Project Management will serve in a critical role in Accellacare US Site Network, tasked with overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects and internal and external customer satisfaction with the projects. In this role, the Senior Manager of Project Management will serve as the leader of the US Acccellacare Project Management team, prioritizing deliverables and workload for all US Accellacare Project Management staff. Additionally, the Senior Manager of Project Management will liaise directly with both Accellacare and ICON leadership to ensure overall success of the studies supported.

Key responsibilities will include delivery towards Key Performance Indicators on all Accellacare trials, collaboration with US Accellacare site staff as well as other network leads, coordination of resources for project delivery at both a US and global level, and support of new initiatives/innovations that will drive the future growth of the Accellacare network.

Job Description Summary

• Responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects and internal and external customer satisfaction with the projects.
• Directs and provides day-to-day technical oversight to the Project Management function.
• Provides vision, leadership and mentorship to the department and organization with respect to performance and career development.
• Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all programs/projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
• Accountable for compliance by the Project Management team with Accellacare policies and procedures.
• Ensure optimal planning and allocation of resources within Project Management.

What you will have

• 2-3 years clinical research experience, whether in site level setting or CRO experience
• Prior Project Management experience in clinical research space (or relevant similar PM experience)
• Undergraduate degree from 4 year institution (or relevant professional experience)
• Prior People Leader experience (will manage a team of 3-4 staff).
