Site Activation Manager: Process Development & Quality
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  This position can be based anywhere in Europe.
 
Overview of the role
 
As Site Activation Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the continued process improvement of Study Start-Up tasks and processes globally, specifically within ICONs strategic partnership accounts.
 
You will be required to identify, assess and implement efficiencies, ensuring that timeframes and targets are met, that quality, customer satisfaction and costs are maintained and that internal and external expectations are optimally managed.
 
Additionally you will be expected to recognised the importance of and create a culture of quality and process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
 
Role Requirements  
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
  • In depth experience within Clinical Research, specifically Start-Up tasks and responsibilities
  • A passion and experience in process development and in achieving functional excellence
  • Experience in Quality Management and Oversight
  • Superb communication skills: the ability to successfully manage, positively interact and liaise successfully with all levels of staff at ICON, vendors and clients.
  • The ability to communicate and implement change projects
  • Leadership and well developed managerial skills
