ICON is currently looking to add a Senior Business Information Associate (RFI Writer) to join our growing team in supporting our Business Development efforts. This position is remote and can be located in either the UK or Ireland.

Job Profile Summary

  • Produce high-quality, sales-focused informational documents in response to internal and external Requests for Information (RFI) that distinguish ICON from its competitors.
  • Innovate and improve existing RFI responses and information collections, storage and presentation procedures and systems.
  • Maintain ICON'S global company information systems

Job Description

  • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centre around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
  • Analyze external RFls for client needs and establish criteria and guidelines for response. Liaise with Account Executive if clarifications are required.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency of ICON information used for business development and marketing purposes.
  • Prepare responses to RFls in timely manner in adherence with ICON procedures and liaise with other department managers as necessary to achieve this. Schedule RFI kick-off calls for more complex RFls as necessary.
  • Support the Bl Manager in the review of RFI responses to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy before being sent to the client.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required (usually <10% of the time) .
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Mentor new Business Information Associates
  • Support training initiatives and other department initiatives.
  • Work with and provide information to ICON global proposal developers for proposals requiring responses to "RFI-type" questions as part of the RFP.
  • Liaise with ICON department heads to update service capabilities on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain a library of ICON metrics/case studies for use in business development
  • Assist with maintenance of Project Database including obtaining updates from Operations Managers to assure database is current.
  • Proactively assist sales team with innovative material to assist in the pre-RFP selling process.
  • Liaise with other managers to improve the effectiveness of the organization.
