ICON plc's Global CRA Academy Program and the Argentina Success Story

In the ever-evolving realm of clinical research, the role of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) continues to be in a critical position in supporting clinical trials.

The role of the CRA is involved in all phases of clinical trials, from start-up to close-out. The main role of a CRA is to ensure the safety and efficacy of the investigational products being researched. ICON understands the significance of nurturing talent to meet the demands of this dynamic field.

The CRA Academy program reflects ICON's dedication to cultivating professionals who can drive innovation and excellence in clinical research.

In our LATAM CRA Academy, incumbents start their training as In-house Clinical Research Associates (IHCRA), and are quickly moved into CRAs, and will engage directly with and travel to the research sites..

What does the CRA Academy involve?

Comprehensive Training: Participants are trained in the clinical research principles, GCP guidelines, and the nuances of their roles as CRAs or In-House CRAs.

Practical Experience: The program offers practical exposure through simulated training scenarios, preparing participants for real-world challenges.

Collaborative Culture: Emphasis on teamwork and camaraderie creates a supportive learning environment, facilitating knowledge sharing and mutual growth.

Career Progression: The program aligns with personal growth aspirations, offering a clear trajectory for participants to excel within the organization.

Guidance and Mentorship: Participants receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
