Our HR Managers are responsible for the delivery of HR Consulting Services by supporting people leaders who are aligned to business objectives.
The Role
HR Manager role for the ICON business in Italy and a number of other countries within the Med regional area.
The country /sub region HR Manager, working as part of the broader EMEA region HR function and with the support of the HR Shared service team and specialist HR areas of Reward, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition etc... supports country leadership, site heads and people leaders across the broad portfolio of HR activity.
Partner with Country Management Teams and Site Heads, providing both support and challenge on HR and change management related matters
Build tight-knit relationships with key Managers within your country (or countries) of responsibility and also with the offshore managers who have people management responsibility in these countries
As the in country HR Manager provide insight and advice to Regional HR leadership and broader HR function on local labour market and associated labour laws and regulations
Support the implementation of people strategies and plans through the rollout of HR programmes and through the provision of local country insight into the broader HR team
Delivery of complex case management advice on key areas such as disciplinary, performance management redundancy, long-term sickness and issues that require country specific interaction.
Implementation of HR global enterprise wide and service line specific initiatives /People Plans and change programs within designated countries. Collaborating with CoE and global service line HRBP's on implementation.
Responsible for management of employee relations, legal compliance and ensuring HR policies meet these requirements in designated country or region
Manage labour relations within designated countries: country Works Councils, Employee representative groups, Trade unions
Actively work with Managers in your region to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data such as exit questionnaires, turnover reports, absence and performance reviews and propose specific plans to assist and advise improvements
Acquisitions, divestments and outsourcing: Deliver country specific input to HR work streams associated with commercial engagements involving the transfer of employees between legal entities . Integration of acquired and inbound outsourced employees including harmonisation of terms & conditions, pay and benefit programs, ensuring compliance to local labour regulations including but not limited to Acquired Rights Directive (ARD) and Transfer of Undertakings Protected Employment (TUPE) legislation.
Experience:
Experienced HR Manager (5+ years as a HRM) with a demonstrable ability to partner with, motivate and influence leadership and management. The role calls on the HRM to switch easily between strategic and tactical tasks.
Candidates preferably from Services industry
Stakeholder management Experience
Delivering presentations to the business teams
Formal discussions/Grievance handling
Flexibility to work in extended hours
Excellent in communication
