Join our Clinical Team as a Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) in the Ghent Region!

Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their clinical team as a Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA)! You'll be a part of a dynamic team of passionate colleagues united in their commitment to shaping the future of clinical development.

We're searching for candidates with a strong administrative and coordinating background, who enjoy supporting a team and keeping things organized. Previous experience in clinical trials or a medical management assistant role is beneficial!

As a Clinical Trial Support member, your primary function is to provide administrative and coordination assistance for the trials assigned to you. By doing so, you will guarantee that your studies are always audit-ready. Additionally, you will provide general support to the clinical team and assist with onboarding new colleagues. If you are in a senior position, you may also assist the Clinical Operations Lead.

Quick glance at your day:

• Assist in the coordination of the logistical aspects of the assigned trial(s)
• Develop and adapt documents to the trial specific requirements
• Coordinate the filing of the Trial Master File (TMF) documents in the (electronic) Trial Master File (TMF)
• Assist with signature collection of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, Purchase Orders, and insurance certificates
• Minute taking, creation of trackers, system access management
• Logistics assistance for departmental meetings
• Assist in proces improvement of clinical processes and in the prepartion of department templates
• preparation of trial reports
• Onboard new CTA's
• Set-up of clinical team meetings (agenda, meeting minutes, follow-up of action items)

An overview of your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or University degree – medical, para-medical, or equivalent by experience
• Experience in a similar position or a medical management assistant role
• Affinity with clinical trials and knowledge about ICH-GCP
• Proficient in software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
