Job Description Summary:
Symphony Health is a leading provider of integrated data-driven solutions and services for the healthcare industry. Our innovative technology and expert analysis enable our clients to make better decisions and drive improved outcomes for patients. Symphony Health is seeking a talented Associate Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures and software architectures for our healthcare data solutions. This role will be focused on modernizing our Integrated Data Universe warehouse (aka IDV) data model and the data structures used by our data ingestion/delivery pipelines and software applications that meet the needs of our clients and support the analysis of healthcare data. The Associate Data Architect will work closely with the technology and business teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and oversee the development and implementation of those solutions.
Job Description:
• Design and implement data architectures and software architectures for Symphony Health's healthcare data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and delivery pipelines that support the analysis of healthcare data.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet client needs.
• Work with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, system architectures, and process flows.
• Provide guidance and support to the development team during the implementation of data solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and software development.
Role Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data architecture or software architecture.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NOSQL database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Experience developing data ingestion and delivery pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Apache NiFi, and AWS Kinesis.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
