About the role
As a Contract&Finance Specialist based in Belgium you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence. For this role you will be sponsor-dedicated and you will be more than welcome in their offices in Diegem. Of course, some flexibility is key and you will be able to work from home as well.
Our client is a well-know and reputated Pharma company, with headquarters in Germany. They have a wide range of therapeutic area's and we often come accross the name in our daily lifes!
- Develop Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs):
- CTAs are developed via contract information sheets, interaction with legal departments (sponsor side and contract parties.
- participation in Study kick-off meetings where you obtain all necessary information required for effective CTA execution.
- Follow-up of language modifications in CTAs when proposed by external contract parties. If language is not compliant, discuss issues with legal and work with the legal department, sites, contractors or vendors to resolve them.
- Generate site budgets based on final approved country budget in preparation for distribution to sites and following up with investigators.
- Manage CTAs and see that all changes to agreements and corresponding components are updated according to Sponsor legal standards and Sponsor Global SOPs.
- Manage the contract tracking database, including coordination of timely updates with respect to CTA.
- Process for each study, internal approval forms and other documents which are required for compliance with the Internal Signatory Process and are also required for annual audits
- Maintain excellent communication and collaboration as point person among clinical trial site personnel (Investigator, Study Coordinator, Institution's Legal Counsel) Sponsor´s Head, Clinical Operations, Legal Counsel and Manager, Insurance, throughout the contract negotiation process.
- Responsible for preparing for internal audits by maintaining a complete and accurate paper trail for each site contract negotiation.
- Negotiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs) with Institutions where Clinical Trials have been conducted and ensure they are reviewed prior to their renewal dates
- You have a solid experience in clinical research and affinity or keen interest to be involved in the contractual aspect of clinical trials
- Experience with contracts, negotiations is certainly a plus
- You are a fluent communicator in English (both oral as written)
- You are detail-oriented, which is needed to dive into the contract information sheets, protocols, legal aspects
- It goes without saying that you are very organised and tidy!
