This is an exciting opportunity to workwithin a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider ofoutsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology andmedical device industries.

As a Corporate Business Applications Trainer you would be responsible to facilitate the trainingof ICON staff in a manner that assures that employees receive the requisiteknowledge, guidance, and experience needed to fulfill their jobresponsibilities in accordance with the quality standards required by ICON.

This is a fixed-term contract role to cover maternity leave.

Overview of the role

To coordinate and conduct in-house application training and provide support employees as needed.
To liase with departments to identify potential training needs, and ensure that Training Needs are satisfactorily met with Training or other initiatives.
To complete departmental projects as assigned in accordance with specified timelines, ICON SOPs/WPs and regulations.
To develop training materials and session activities under the direction of the Director /Manager/ designee.
To proactively review training materials on an ongoing basis to ensure that they are up to date, and relevant for the purposes intended
To liase with external training vendors with regard to contracted training services, as necessary.
To review the training records, as needed, of staff/departments assigned to ensure the records are current and maintained in accordance with ICON SOPs.
To maintain and update Training database(s) as appropriate
To inform Director/Manager of training issues, and timelines, as required

Role Requirements

Background in application training delivery – both face to face and remote web conference style delivery methods
Experience desired for application training content design– both instructor led and online training
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Ability to successfully liaise with staff and management in operational and service departments.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Competent computer skills with thorough knowledge of MS office suite
Valid driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15% overall or as necessary (international and domestic; fly and drive).
