Cybersecurity Senior Analyst - India, Chennai Hybrid: Office/Remote

We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Analyst to join our diverse and dynamic team. The Cybersecurity Senior Analyst plays a vital role in keeping an organization’s proprietary and sensitive information secure. You will work inter-departmentally to identify and correct flaws in the company’s security systems, solutions, and programs while recommending specific measures that can improve the company’s overall security posture.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage IT security controls, perform routine tasks outlined in the Security Operations Runbook, and oversee ICON's security governance.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity incidents, including root cause analysis and forensics when necessary.
- Monitor security tools, track threats, and ensure critical assets are included in security monitoring. Respond to and track security incidents using ticketing systems.
- Ensure compliance with ICON Information Security policies, hardening standards, and defined security models.
- Leverage technical skills to streamline data analysis processes, correlate information, and relate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the current threat landscape, create security reports and visualizations, track trends for metrics and reporting, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or another related program
- Minimum of 5-7 years in a security analyst related role.
- Preferred certifications: GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler), GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst), and GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture problem solving and the ability to think on your feet under pressure.
- The successful candidate will gain experience of operating in a technically complex, fast changing and dynamic environment. Working as part of a global security team the Senior SOC analyst must be a proven self-starter, have excellent organisational and communications skills. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Cybersecurity, must have the ability to maintain composure under pressure and work calmly during an emergency. They should also have a solid understanding in the following areas:

- SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation & Response)
