About the Director, Pharmacovigilance and Safety Services at ICON:

This leadership opportunity in the ICON Pharmacovigilance and Safety Services group will involve directing project management team members to ensure successful coordination, executive, control and delivery of project & program portfolios. You will serve as the project director for life-cycle of assigned programs and projects. Additionally, will develop and grow the capabilities of the department with emphasis on productivity, quality, and operational efficiencies.

As a key leader on the PV & Safety team, you will have the opportunity to directly impact and foster a positive environment founded on ICON’s Values. You will be focused on strengthening partnerships with ICON Clients and collaborating closely with departmental, operational and business development teams. This role will have a high-impact on the overall success of our programs by leveraging extensive PV knowledge and expertise to support and deliver on a variety of client projects.

To succeed you will need:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor degree or local equivalent in medical or life sciences. We are seeking at least 8 years experience in pharmacovigilance with 5 years of direct people management experience.  The preferred candidate will have robust understanding of global regulations related to PV and Safety processes with a proven track record of client management, leadership and coaching experience.  The ideal candidate will be able to thrive  within a fast-paced environment. We are seeking excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel 10% as needed for client and/or team meetings.
