Director Project Management RWE (Real-World Evidence Late Phase)

Location: Ireland, UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland (Home based)

ICON is seeking an experienced professional with demonstrated People management and Project leadership expertise in actively driving teams to successful project delivery, leading operational study teams responsible for key strategic clients. This is an incredible opportunity to develop and elevate new business opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Project leadership: Oversight of studies as the key client contact for designated projects. You will be responsible for ensuring operational metrics; KPIs, cycle times and financial performance are successful for your assigned teams and client portfolios. In support of achieving operational delivery, you will be responsible for identifying and leading process improvement initiatives for your region as well as in alignment with the global framework for ICON's RWE team

• People management: Motivate, develop and oversee the professional development for Project Managers and Clinical Trial Managers reporting into you.

• Business Development: Proposal development work, involvement in bid defense where needed (travel involved). Act as the key client contact tor designated projects and develop successful working relationships with clients to help drive increased business and secure repeat business.

Education and Experience:

You will need significant relevant experience within a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment including:

• Leadership experience at the Director level, running large, complex matrix teams across geographies.
• Project management- experience running complex studies
• Technical skills in RWE/Late phase- desirable
• Business development
• Education: minimum of a bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
