We are looking to take our in-house graphic and content capabilities to the next level by bringing on a full-time content creator - graphic designer to play a pivotal role in driving this organisation towards success.

The purpose of the role is to strengthen the business growth of Oncacare by assisting our patient recruitment team by creating a full range of patient decision supporting materials, including brochures, leaflets as well as SEO website copy, blog posts, creative content such as infographics, and update social media channels as required.

You will join a small team with the opportunity to impact the business straight away. Therefore, we are looking for someone who will share ideas, roll up their sleeves and add value.

Main Responsibilities:

• Writing engaging digital content, inclusive of blogs, infographic research, optimised website copy.
• Optimising all web content, including adding meta titles, meta descriptions and keyword insertion.
• Assisting with the creation and scheduling of social media posts across a range of channels. including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, & Instagram.
• Keeping up to date with digital knowledge and industry news.
• Always up to date with social media content best practices, specs and requirements
• Creating adverts for digital, social and print media.
• Prioritising work appropriately and working to strict timescales.
• Oversee print production processes from start to finish.
• Take briefs from and develop ideas with the patient recruitment and media team leads.
• Produce creative and accurate designs.
• Provide concept thumbnails through to finished print ready artwork to the highest standards

To be successful you will need:

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of working in a similar role & an extensive portfolio of completed design projects and written content.
• Exceptional written and communication skills, and be able to demonstrate these fully at every opportunity
• A highly adaptable writer, capable of writing content for different purposes, whether it's long-form guides, or short and impactful social media copy
• You'll have a working knowledge of SEO, and know how to implement guidelines into your work
• Degree or equivalent in graphic Design/Journalism
• Excellent communication skills with a 'can-do' attitude who will bring fresh ideas to the business
• History of meeting tight deadlines and a quick turnaround on artwork ensuring the highest quality
• A good understanding of print processes and visualization of digital projects
• Experience of content creation across a range of platforms
• Strong personal and communication skills, self-driven
• The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels
• Willing to go above and beyond to achieve a positive outcome
• Managing and curating emails/sms (Content, build, test sending and delivery).
• Good knowledge of Adobe design software such as Photoshop and InDesign.

Personal profile

• Good creative artwork skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experienced at working across multiple mediums.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Be able to work under pressure to complete tasks within agreed timescales.
• Be able to track progress and report to management within set timelines.
