If you have experience handling biological lab specimens and prepping samples for delivery to a clinical laboratory; learn how you can play a key role as Laboratory Assistant for ICON Laboratory Services which is dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and the associate services for clinical trials.
The role:
- Laboratory invoice processing. Prepare for the payment request form, kofax coding and send to approver. Monitoring payment status. Follow up with lab and Finance team if necessary
- Urgent importing permit application. Prepare for the document for application. Operation at China Customs application. Call to China Customs if necessary
- Imported Class A reagents inspection preparation. Communicate with China Customs of BDA. Work with Supervisor to host inspection when reagent receive.
- Laboratory Equipment calibration eg pipette, centrifuge, biosafety cabinet, timer, temperature. To work with the vendor to do calibraiton in timely manner. The report need get lab management review and approve. Then scan the copy in network drive folder. archive the document.
- Inventory management. Account laboratory consumable, stationery, and order as necessary
- Others upon necessary
You will need:
• You will possess a bachelor’s degree (preferred) along with 1 year of related experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
• You will have basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office along with excellent written/verbal communication skills, the ability to handle large work load demands and trouble shoot issues timely when required
• Exhibit appropriate time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to keep accurate, legible records and recognize the need to handle these records and all other information in line with GCP/GLP/GDP.
