Proposal Manager, ICON site and patient solutions (ISP)
As part of one of the world's largest global CROs, ICON provides study specific recruitment, retention, and engagement services that support patient centric participation in clinical trials.
Our teams include patient recruitment specialists, Accellacare (ICONs Site network, In-home services, and Site Resourcing) and our site portal FIRECREST (which provide superior education and training materials for sites and patients). We deliver tailored support from these functions to make it easier for the patients to participate and to support sites in their enrolment.
The Proposal Manager is responsible for supporting business development in the winning of new business for our site and patient-facing business.
As a Proposal Manager, you will work in a small team and be responsible for organizing and preparing high quality customer-focused proposals and budgets, working closely with technical, project management and commercial teams across these groups to produce bespoke solutions for a wide variety of clinical studies.
Applications are encouraged from experienced proposal developers ready to take on more responsibility and team management.
To succeed you will need:
- A strong understanding of and/or experience in clinical trials and ideally patient recruitment, retention, and support services
- Experience of line management
- Strong Excel & Word skills
- A demonstrable ability to manage your own workload and coordinate team priorities and tight deadlines
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- To be office based in our Dublin office (we are able to offer a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 at home).
