Medical Administrative Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Medical & Safety Services department at ICON, a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Director Medical & Safety Services in charge of the Pharamacovigilance services (QPPV) t.

Overview of the Role

• Ensuring confidentiality, you will maintain efficient and accurate daily flow of documents in accordance with ICON SOPs and current QPPV regulations, within stipulated timelines.
• You will be liaising with back office support teams in India to ensure all documents are in order for inspection.
• You will assist the managing Director of ICON Clinical research GmbH in the preparation of routine correspondence, organisation of meetings and preparation of presentations/flow charts when required.
• You will take/prepare/distribute minutes of meetings, coordinate department stationery, prepare/dispatch post items and undertake other reasonably related tasks as assigned from time to time.

Role Requirements

• Appropriate academic qualifications (eg. secondary school/high school diploma or equivalent) and/or relevant office experience, preferably in a medical environment.
• Computer experience, to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Fluent in German and English,.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
