Job Title: Mac and Jamf Admin
The Role:
Responsible for ensuring that all Mac devices are properly configured, updated, secured, and managed using the Jamf platform.
- This role requires a strong understanding of macOS and Apple hardware, as well as a deep knowledge of the Jamf Pro platform.
- Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using Jamf Pro
- Maintain and update the Jamf Pro environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and policies to automate and streamline device management tasks
- Monitor device performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Manage software updates and patching for all Mac devices
- Implement and maintain security policies for macOS devices
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Mac devices into the overall IT infrastructure
- Provide end-user support for macOS-related issues
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- At least 5 years of experience in macOS and Apple hardware administration
- At least 5 years of experience in Jamf Pro administration
- Strong knowledge of macOS and Apple hardware configuration, deployment, and management
- Deep understanding of the Jamf Pro platform, including policy creation, software deployment, and inventory management
- Experience with scripting languages
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently to resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Apple certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Jamf Certified Administrator (JCA) are a plus
