The Role:
Windows 10 and 11 Image requirements gathering from Customer considering business requirements, functional requirements and technical requirements.
- Prepare Design, Build and rollout Windows 10 and Windows 11 on par with industry standards.
- Review, recommend and implement desktop GPO’s changes
- Review and manage existing Logon scripts and update to optimize logon time or to improve performance.
- Creation of image design documentations, test cases, custom scripts required to build the SOE.
- Coordinate with Client SME for Image testing and sign off.
- Responsible for deploying the signed off image to production deployment servers.
- Hands on experience on MDT/SCCM/MECM and industry standard SOE and Imaging tools.
- Expertise on Windows 10/11 migration, user data migration and related technologies.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company's Windows desktop environment.
- Design and maintain desktop re-imaging and software deployment system.
- Deploy and support new and existing Windows desktops.
- Ensure that all Windows desktops are kept updated with the latest patches and security updates.
- Install and troubleshoot software.
- Provide support and maintenance on all Microsoft Office suite applications and various other desktop applications such as Adobe.
- Respond to antivirus software alerts and perform basic remediation steps.
- Global desktop support for all our global offices – remote support for project or desktop initiatives
- Create and manage user accounts, security groups, and distribution lists
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Windows OS and MECM administration.
- Strong knowledge in windows 10 and Windows 11 Operating System.
- Strong knowledge in Windows 10 SOE and various methods of building and managing the SOE.
- Strong knowledge in tools such as MDT/MECM/ SCCM, imageX, DISM.
- Strong knowledge in image build and test, troubleshooting skills, image modifications (driver / file injection)
- Strong knowledge in task sequence creation and customization.
- Strong knowledge in application packaging and deployment
- Strong knowledge in deployment tools such as SCCM, MDT, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Servers.
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Good knowledge in VB scripting or PowerShell scripting.
