The Role:
Typeset documents, prepare provided graphics and produce illustrative matter (e.g. tables, charts, graphs, sidebars, pull-quotes, etc.) per project specifications and professional layout considerations. Work on projects at any stage of development. Complete revisions of existing materials
Champion internal quality control checks to minimize studio-initiated alterations
Recognize opportunities to maintain visual consistency across complementing projects while aligning to established brand guidelines
Review provided project specifications to ensure developed materials are correctly and accurately set-up. Construct physical mockups
Perform file flight checks to ensure accurate release of pre-press art to vendors to the highest level consistent with internal standards and client acceptability while upholding deadlines
Assist with proof accuracy checks, attend press checks, provide approvals
Liase with outside vendors to ensure materials are produced according to project specifications, on time and within budge
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years in Business Graphic Design or similar
From 3+ years of experience in Business Graphic Design or Agency role
Portfolio of completed projects showcasing finished product
Expert working knowledge of industry-standard programs including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign style sheets and development of dynamic PDF documents using bookmarks, hyperlinks, form fields
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications.
Ability to use or learn any other software or system necessary for fulfilling the requirements of this position
