Overview of the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries who values innovation, solution and pro-activity.
 
As a Safety Associate, you will be working in the “Intelligence Group” working with Safety Reporting within the Regulatory Affairs Department. As part of this role you will be reviewing legal documents, extracting safety reporting information and summarising into meaningful statements to be used by safety reporting project teams. You will work closely with key stakeholders which include regulatory authorities, QPPVs and project managers to assess the legal requirements for safety reporting.
 
The role offers the opportunity to develop Pharmacovigilance expertise with significant exposure to varied safety processes in clinical trials and post-marketing
 
Role Requirements
 
  • Working knowledge of the legal requirements in the clinical research / pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience of regulations and safety reporting
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Medical/science background and/or bachelor’s degree or local equivalent
  • Previous experience of authoring working practices and SOPs is an advantage
