The Role:
Senior Analyst Engineer is involved in code review, process improvement, team or project leadership, mentoring of other team members and works under minimal supervision and as an independent player as part of a Development Team, and influences the technical direction of a products or family of products.
Using excellent knowledge of development processes and procedures, a Senior Analyst Engineer is involved in the timely execution and delivery of tasks in the areas of product design, product development, component testing, quality assurance, and product maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop and maintain software solutions with minimal supervision and direction.
Acts as Business Analyst on selected projects, defining requirements and other technical specifications, in addition to writing and unit testing code
Delivers to a high quality standard within agreed time scales.
Plans and takes ownership of own work and any issues relating to same.
Solves problems that arise in own area of responsibility.
Develops technical competence on technologies relating to assignments and other technologies as directed
Provides regular feedback to manager and/or designee on work status and problem areas.
Provides input to team project schedule.
Actively supports teamwork both within own group and across Development, by offering assistance to other team members in an effort to achieve team goals.
Participates in code and design reviews
Constantly proposes improvements to systems
Proactively promotes optimal solutions and resolves issues across multiple systems and processes.
To succeed you will need:
8+ Years development experience, must include ETL tool like Oracle Data Integrator and/or Informatica IICS (CDI & CAI) or OBIEE.
8+ Years Data warehouse Applications Development experience.
8+ Years development experience using standard Software Development Life Cycle Methodology.
Design and analysis methodology and application development processes from both an industry and client perspective.
Excellent knowledge of and experience with data warehousing/data marts concepts and practices.
Experience with design methodologies related to reusable components and code.
Pharma & health care Services and IT industries.
Data architecture and concepts of relational and dimensional databases.
