Role: Senior Data Architect
Location: Ireland, Dublin

What about the TEAM:
Applied Digital Solutions (ADS) provides full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for key products used by ICON in the execution of clinical trials.
This ALM encompasses all phases of the product lifecycle including strategy and business alignment through to product inception, planning, development, marketing and sales support, and product service and support.
We are a very tightly integrated team where collaboration, ownership, and delivery are key foundations of what makes us successful. We are a dynamic team where best in class enterprise deliveries are a given and quality a must.
What about the MISSIONS:
As a Senior Data Architect, you will have to develop and deploy complex, interactive visualizations that inform analysis and decision making. Utilize data visualization best practices to create clear and consistent BI products
- Develop and deploy complex, interactive visualizations that inform analysis and decision making
- Utilize data visualization best practices to create clear and consistent BI products
- Translate business requirements from key stakeholders into process/system functional requirements
- Write SQL queries to prepare data for visualization, conduct data investigations and for QA testing
- Drive adoption of dashboards by consulting with and providing training to end-users
- Develop new and maintain existing dashboards and templates for self-service
- Ensure data integrity for all assigned projects
- Document back-end and end-user processes
- Provide troubleshooting support to end-users
- Act as administrator for the Medical Informatics site on Tableau Server
- Maintain Medical Informatics’ Tableau style guide and chart library
- Identify areas for improvement in existing dashboards and, subsequently, implementing these improvements
What about YOU:
- Over 6+ years of working experience as a data architect
- Strong experience developing data visualizations using Tableau
- Strong experience writing SQL queries on large data sets
- Experience using Tableau and Microsoft Excel for data exploration and QA
- Knowledge in Database Structure - Data Marts
- Knowledge of BI solution flow, interactivity, design and layout
- Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail
- Fluency in best practices for data visualization
