The Role:

ICON plc are recruiting for a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist in their Dublin office. They are responsible for owning the full maintenance (PPM & Reactive) system and processes in ICON Dublin and also carries out routine and preventative maintenance services and minor repairs of building, fixtures and systems in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for adherence to Facilities and related Policy & Procedures including updating of ICON policies and procedures where required.
  • Ownership of all documentation and audit trails of hard and soft maintenance and repairs process.
  • Ensure compliance for all customer audits of Facilities Management, both hard and soft services
  • Own and take responsibility for the full planned preventative maintenance of ICON Dublin hard and soft service requirements
  • Coordinate maintenance services with external service providers as required, monitor work and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Carry out specific and agreed planned preventative maintenance and repairs directly
  • Maintain schedule of preventative maintenance programs for critical facilities systems and equipment such as onsite generators.
  • Respond to facility maintenance requests received through Facilities Online, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues in compliance with department metrics.
  • Move various equipment, furniture and miscellaneous items in and about the premises when needed and any other task related to office equipment.
  • Manage designated Facilities Projects as assigned by line manager, including Project Planning, Costing, Scheduling, Communication, Documentation, Budget Adherence, Certification and Handover
  • Contribute significantly to the Budgeting process including forecasting and updating on a monthly basis
  • Manage waste disposal services including general waste, recycling and any other waste destruction in accordance with established

Requirements:

  • Be able to be based in our Dublin office full time. On some occasions travel may be required
  • Strong email and Excel computer skills required
  • Excellent communication and people skills required
  • Previous experience in a Facilities Maintenance role
