The Role:
Manage a team of Automation Developers and other support roles who are responsible for maintaining existing automated processes and progressing new automation opportunities.
Lead with identifying and automating the organisations processes using Intelligent Automation (IA) including, technologies such RPA, Cognitive, Chat Bots and Voice Bots.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing the relationship with IT to deliver a stable and scalable Automation platform that is fit for purpose.
- Operational accountability for the delivery of automated processes according to agreed timescales
- Prioritising process pipeline to deliver automation in a cost effective manner and against business requirements
- Managing a team of Automation Developers
- Complete Automation Assessments across all functions to identify processes suitable for Automation and lead on taking suitable processes through the Automation Development Life Cycle
- Ensure all automation development adheres to the approved Governance Model
- Lead on process re-engineering to enable automation
- Support with the development of additional automation business cases
- Ensure benefits are defined and realised in line with defined automation business cases
- Continuously improve the Automation Development Life Cycle and Governance Model
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- Strong Robotic Process Automation management experience / knowledge
- Strong Infrastructure/Operational automation background.
- Able to influence at Executive/SLT level
- Strong Process Improvement background
- Able to develop innovate automation ideas and turn them into viable solutions
- Able to implement solutions and quickly overcome barriers to deliver tangible benefits
- Strong leadership / stakeholder management
Any experience below would also be advantageous:
- IT/change background
- Working knowledge of latest IA technologies
- Experience working in the healthcare sector
