Job Description

 

Key technical skills and experience:
- Oracle R12.2 on-premise applications
- PLSQL, SQL, OAF, Workflow Builder, APEX, Java, SOA

- Reporting tools - Jasper, Incorta, other BI dashboard reporting tools
- Structured business process, data, and BI reporting analysis
- Oracle AIM documentation
- JIRA, ServiceNow

Job Functions


·Design and develop and maintain software solutions under the direction of a Team Lead and/or designee.

·Must be able to work in conjunction with Oracle eBS functional consultants to complete a technical design, based on a functional design, and be able to unit test components independently.
·Delivers to a high quality standard within agreed time scales.
·Plans and takes ownership of own work and any issues relating to same.
·Solves problems that arise in own area of responsibility.
·Develops technical competence on technologies relating to assignments and other technologies as directed
· Provides regular feedback to manager and/or immediate lead on work status and problem areas.
· May proactively help project manager / scrum master with the project schedule.
· Actively supports teamwork both within own group and across Development, by offering assistance to other team members in an effort to achieve team goals.
Responsibilities
· Accountable for following defined processes and procedures, and highlighting in a timely manner any related problems with same.
· Accountable for applying knowledge and ingenuity to solve basic to moderate problems that arise in areas of responsibility, and escalating when necessary.
· Accountable for the timely execution of agreed objectives, to a high quality standard, under the direction of a Senior Lead and, where necessary, with the guidance of more experienced Developers

· Proactive: Proactively pursue objectives, seek support and strives to develop technical competence. Proactively identifies and escalates issues/solutions
· Teamwork: Actively communicate and collaborate
· Communication Skills: Is able to communicate (oral/written) and is approachable

· Adaptable: Undertakes a variety of tasks willingly. Able to learn new tools and technologies.
· Planning & Organizing: Uses established skills to plan and organize own schedule and timelines
· Can Work Under Pressure: To meet project deadlines when required
Business
· Has a working understanding of ICON’s organization structure.
· Decision Making Skills*: Can make decisions within the parameters of own job.
· Object Oriented Design: Strong understanding of OO methods
· Agile: Good working knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
· A basic understanding of ICON’s business
· Other duties as assigned.
