System Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a Systems Support Specialist to join our bioanalytical lab team. As a Systems Support Specialist at ICON, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable performance and efficiency of our Hamilton pipetting robots and other automation systems or applications. You will develop, test, implement, and document these systems according to its bioanalytical purpose in close collaboration with the lab analyst and scientist. You will provide technical support and trouble-shoot problems when needed. Besides that you will work together with our IT and validation teams to maintain and enhance performance and compliance of our systems and applications. You will contribute to optimizing system performance and enhancing user experience by providing expert technical support and solutions to end-users across our laboratory.
What You Will Be Doing:
Developing, testing, implementing and documenting lab automation system applications
Developing and maintaining system documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and support procedures.
Training end users on the use of these systems.
Providing advanced technical support for system-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborating with IT and validation teams to maintain and enhance system performance, ensuring that applications meet operational requirements and user needs.
Performing the configuration, testing, and deployment of new systems and software upgrades.
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences or (Bio)Information Technology/Computer Science.
Strong affinity with automation, programming and computer sciences.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
