Our Language Services team is part of our Commercialisation and Outcomes group, working out of our offices in Abingdon (UK), Raleigh-Durham, and Seoul (Korea). The team provides translation of clinical trial related materials for both internal and external clients. The translation group consists of office-based teams with varied responsibilities, managing projects and liaising with our clients and freelance translators. We currently have an opportunity for a Translation Co-ordinator, based out of our Raleigh-Durham office, who will be part of a team coordinating translation projects.
The Translation Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in language services supporting global clinical and outcomes research initiatives. These language services may include any combination of the following: clinical document translation/back translation, audio transcription, voice-recording, multi-lingual desktop publishing and linguistic validation of patient-reported outcome (PRO) questionnaires. Undertake project work to a high standard and in a timely manner. Liaise with clients and with other departments within the Commercialization and Outcomes division. Some travel may be required up to 5% nationally or internationally.

- No previous experience required.
- Ability to clearly present instructions, negotiate pricing and address issues with suppliers and internal external customers.
- Organization and Multitasking skills
- Fluency in English both orally and in writing, with excellent communication skills
Be capable of independent work.
Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent in English, modern languages, linguistics, communication, business or relevant discipline.
