Associate Project Manager, Imaging
Location - North Wales, PA or Raleigh-Durham, NC
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. The Associate Project manager will provide assistance to the Technical Project Manager / Project Manager and project team and work to ensure quality, efficiency and improved profitability.
Overview of the Role

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
  • Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
  • Assist in the development of project related documentation, coordinating project tasks and communicating/ progress to team members for assigned projects.
  • Function as Technical Project Manager / Project Manager in their absence for assigned projects.
  • Perform quality review on assigned projects.
  • Provide critical input to Project Management for proactive resolutions and improvements.
  • Provide support to Manager, Technical Project Manager / Director, Clinical Operations as appropriate.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients on project development related matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of project information as appropriate.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
  • Lead, motivate and mentor support staff
  • Mentor and train junior staff
Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in medicine or science or local equivalent or Certified in Imaging Sciences or local equivalent degree / experience
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Background in medicine, science, software or other relevant discipline
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Ability to liaise professionally with clients and system users.
  • Ability to support a diverse team of individuals
  • Problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Business Computer skills
