Bioanalytical Manager

About the Manager, Bioanalytical Services role within ICON: 

The Manager, Bioanalytical Services will manage Bioanalytical LCMS Services for ICON Bioanalytical Laboratories, including PK, ADA and biomarker development/validation/production to support regulatory studies. Will supervise and develop laboratory staff and ensure timely, high quality and compliant analysis in order to provide meaningful results. Work with management and project leaders over practical and specific aspects of studies assuring that resources allocated to a given functional group match the workload needs and priorities. Will assist in the marketing of and the preparation and presentation of ICON Laboratory Services proposals.

To succeed you will need:

You will need Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant biological disciplines along with in depth proven (5-7 years) leadership experience working as part of a bioanalytical environment (or equivalent) where there was an emphasis on production of high quality results. 

Previous experience of preclinical and clinical study related matters in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/CRO industries, experience of GLP or other Quality systems, good understanding and experience of analytical procedures, instrumentation, software and general laboratory experience.  Technology transfer and collaboration experience with other groups or laboratory sites, good written record keeping and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow precise written and verbal instructions accurately, and excellent organizational skills.

Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver's license.
