Change Manager
12 month fixed term contract
Location: Dublin, Ireland, or Marlow, UK
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. It is a very exciting time in the HR team within ICONplc, whilst we commence a time of scoping and implementing significant change for how we deliver our HR Services globally to all our 10,000 employees.
Overview of the role
The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring our people information system project and related change initiatives meet objectives and targets on time and on budget by readying the HR and IT functions and increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to current business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures on customer side and internally (e.g. HR and IT) as well. The goal is to ensure the organisation is ready for the change and to drive high value end user adoption via individual, group and organisational change management services.
This role will partner closely with the broader project teams and leaders from across the organisation – including HR, IT, engineering, product management, professional services, stakeholders and more - that are responsible for implementing the change.
The Change Manager will define, create, and implement change plans that align and support the timelines and deliverables of the project team.
This Change Manager will employ change management tools and strategies that are designed to maximise employee engagement and minimise employee resistance. The tools will include: impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, business readiness, communications and training.
The Change Manager will propose, design and subsequently execute effective change interventions at individual, group, organisational and environmental levels to help the organisation increase its effectiveness and productivity.
Role Requirements
You will have strong skills and knowledge gained from previous related positions and projects which offer a blend of: Strong professional experience in change management, technology implementation, or related field expertise.
Experience with delivery as part of a global engagement team in large-scale organisational change efforts.
Excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Problem solving and root cause identification skills. Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels.
