Clinical Research Marketing Events and Database Coordinator

Overview:

As the Marketing Events Specialist / Database Coordinator at our Early Phase Center in Lenexa, Kan., you will play a crucial role in building awareness of the significant impact clinical research volunteers play in advancing medicine. You will also participate directly in recruiting participants for clinical studies and meeting key client timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes and attends various marketing events designed to build brand awareness and interest in participating in clinical research studies at ICON

• Works with our in-house graphic designer to create visually interesting booth displays, contests and promotional items

• Coordinates database exports for use in recruiting of volunteers for upcoming studies as well as measurement of ongoing marketing efforts and new business needs

• Assures data provided is timely and accurate

• Assists with preparation of monthly database reports

• Teams with others to manage social media campaigns designed to grow our volunteer database

• Monitors social media channels and interacts with users in a positive, enthusiastic manner

• Proactively develops new ideas for engaging content and future posts

• Ensures that marketing events and social media campaigns adhere to necessary budgets and standards of professionalism

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Willingness to work flexible hours as attendance at occasional night and weekend events will be required

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• A positive outlook and enjoy working with others

• Attention to detail

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Ability to meet regular deadlines with little supervision

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Demonstrated organizational skills
