We are looking to take our in-house social media and content creation capabilities to the next level by bringing on a full-time Social Media & Content Creator to play a pivotal role in driving this organisation towards success.

The purpose of the role is to strengthen the business growth of Oncacare by assisting our patient recruitment team by creating a full range of patient decision supporting materials, including brochures, leaflets as well as SEO website copy, blog posts, creative content such as infographics, and update social media channels as required.

We are looking for a Content Creator - Copywri who can create, post and distribute digital content using a range of techniques, across channels including websites, social media and webinars.

• Direct social media to engage audiences across traditional and new media, including website management and SEOs

• Lead on the day-to-day management of our digital channels, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content.

• Monitoring content that has been distributed through multiple websites

• Plan, produce and create a programme of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders.

• Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.

• Provide our website visitors with inspirational, and informative, material.

Main Responsibilities:

• Generate original articles that grab the attention of our target audience

• Create short impactful captions for social media

• Create copy and content for a range of comms including social media and e-marketing

• Create copy that compliments associated imagery

• Bring our core values to life through creative writing

• Research topics and write creatively and intelligently about the subject

• Be integral in implementing SEO strategy, growing organic traffic & furthering engagement

• Proofread, edit and re-write copy

• Social Media Scheduling

• Building content on CMS Systems

• Creating compelling email content and scheduling Emails using our automated platform

• Support us in shaping and communicating our vision and mission to our audience across social channels

• Support the design and implementation of our social media strategy to align with business goals

• Set specific objectives, track success metrics and steer for improvements

• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

To be successful you will need:

Skills & Experience

• Experience executing social media campaigns

• Demonstrable research experience using multiple sources

• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills

• The ability to write with creative flair and in imaginative ways

• Proven track record of creating content that improves online visibility, brand awareness lead generation and backs up sales activity

• Good understanding of the appropriate content for, and effectiveness of, different digital platforms

• Ability to write and communicate clearly about complex and sensitive issues

• Must have strong verbal and writing skills as well as ability to present information and ideas logically and clearly.

• Good knowledge of Adobe design software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro - or familiar with similar software to create images and video

• Innovative ideas for new media assets, remaining on-brand

• Logical and creative thinking skills

• Ability to work with a range of internal and external people

• Ability to communicate effectively with a can-do attitude

Personal profile

• Good creative artwork skills with excellent attention to detail

• Experienced at working across multiple mediums

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Be able to work under pressure to complete tasks within agreed timescales

• Be able to track progress and report to management within set timelines

• Pro-active, flexible and able to multi-task

• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
