The Role:
Are you our next Customer Service Lead? The role of customer service lead will be to process customer orders for NONMEM and PDx-Pop, and set up exhibits at scientific conferences, and workshops. This means we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who can recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
As a Customer Service Lead, you will be expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs. We are specifically looking for a candidate with excellent accounting experience and experience of financial and invoicing software – the successful candidate would have experience with many different invoicing systems and be someone who is agile within these parameters.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Travel (approximately 10 %) domestic and/or international – this would be approx. 2 trade/exhibition shows per year (US and EU)
- Maintain Subscription logs of NONMEM and PDx-Pop using NetSuites software
- Notify customers of renewal of subscription at least one month ahead of time
- Send quotes to new and recurring customers, obtain signatures to contracts
- Collect revenues for these subscriptions.
- Process payments for products, services, subscriptions, needed by Pharmacometrics R&D
- Process royalty payments
- Set up exhibits for scientific conferences
- Set up workshops venues at scientific conferences and semi-annual workshops
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent experience and qualification
Prior experience successfully performing in a customer service environment
Self-starter and able to function in a high-paced, dynamic environment
Must be able to work independently, be highly motivated and a strong team player
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent numeracy, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Fluency in English and excellent written English skills are essential
Located in UK or Ireland – travel will be expected
