Clinical Operations Director, Medical Imaging

If you have experience providing direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of Clinical Operations; learn how you can lead a Medical Imaging team that offers complete solutions for clinical trials that require the acquisition, collection, management and analysis of global medical image data.

Responsibilities:

This is a customer facing role which will allow you to oversee an entire portfolio acting as the point of escalation, running governance meetings, and ensuring consistency across the portfolio. In addition, there will be a Business Development component which will require you to lead proposal developments, reviewing for cost appropriateness and attending bid defense meetings acting as the face for the Project management team.

- You will be responsible for approving changes during the studies and performing project-specific reviews with Project Managers.

- Line Management duties inclusive of career development, mentoring, training, and performance reviews for several direct reports.

- Lead the overall delivery, through your management team, to drive execution of service, client satisfaction, quality and efficiencies.

- Provide overall budgeting responsibilities for your country to drive productivity and quality within the region.  

- Communicate with the Senior Director and/or VP Clinical Operations on all critical issues and business growth opportunities.

- Work closely with Business Development to support the growth of the country and provide regional/client based knowledge to achieve success.

- Be the key contact for the country in regard to operational questions and escalations. 

To succeed you will need:

- You will have a Bachelor’s degree (or local equivalent) or relevant experience in imaging sciences or clinical research along with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in clinical trials, background in Imaging Services and at least 5 years in Project Management.

- You must have good understanding of Project Management life cycle, client relationship management, good commercial awareness and customer focus.

- Highly developed problem solving skills, able to work as team leader and individually on multiple client projects, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills, business computer skills, and trained in Good Clinical Practices

- Experience working with Imaging Systems for Clinical Studies (Rave Medical Imaging strongly preferred!)
